(I found one website claiming 1979 without evidence, but based on it's feature set I'd bet it's earlier than that.) I'm capturing the footage off of it using a clearclick video monitor and recorder, no computer of VTR required. I'm powering it from it's wall adapter, and taking the video from the on camera video output. I'll build a battery eventually.
